Amundsen Educational Center (AEC) is a faith-based non-profit, educational and vocational training school committed to social enterprise.
AEC operates two educational departments: Building Hope Construction and New Frontier Vocational Technical Center. In addition to these two educational departments, AEC also provides comprehensive Student Services to make it possible for Native Alaskans from villages off the road system to attend and successfully complete the vocational programs. |

Building Hope Construction - See Website
Construction students are involved in the Building Hope Construction program of AEC. Our fully-owned construction company (BHC LLC) engages students in the construction of homes from footings to finish carpentry that are sold upon completion. The homes provide the perfect laboratory for hands-on practical experience in the building trades. AEC provides the following construction-related diplomas:

New Frontier offers vocational tracks that focus on entry level business and medical office education. Since 1985, New Frontier has a strong record of training and employment placement. Diplomas and Certificates provided by NFVTC include:
